To step up the hype of the show after its long delay, people from the network released the first few tidbits of the episode online on their official episode guide. They also released exclusive interviews of the show’s cast and crew, some behind the scenes, and a preview of what’s to come and plans for some of the characters. The show’s premise and setting is what hooks most people. The unique perspective in an apocalyptic planet Earth in the twenty second century, then flashbacks to the prehistoric cretaceous period is indeed a unique development for any science fiction series. However, critics have found some of the characters to be a bit flat, formulaic and a bit clichéd. Hopefully writers can come up with some depth to the characters as the show progresses.
